Hello! My name is Jo Zamora. I am a designer by day and night learning their way into the graphic design world.
During high school, I got some experience with Photoshop even though it was the oldest version known to man but either way I got experience with editing and designing. It was something I had a fun time doing and found out that this could be a job and something I could think about studying in college since my high school years was coming to an end and I had to think about what I wanted to do with my life. But after graduating I went to study plumbing at Pikes Peak. But finding and feeling that this wasn’t for me, I changed majors to Multimedia graphic design. With this program I was able to get many different experiences with being able to do illustration, coding websites, graphic design, etc. which is amazing. So now I am also getting two certificates for illustration and print media with my associates. My 2023 fall semester I got an internship and designing for other means having to communicate with the clients and what they want or if something needs to be changed which has happened already in my internship which makes me a better designer. Being a good communicator also means making new friends along the way in which I have met some amazing people during my graphic design path. With this internship I also must share an office and computer with another amazing graphic designer intern which means that organizing your files with someone else is a must.
